光影遊走在城市的每個角落
大樓披上金黃帷幕
日光漫步在城市巷弄
天光漸暗
人們湧現街頭
點起一座座的燈火
台北
如點點星光
經過8,300多次日落
在這裡
我們孕育了一盞燈火長大
將它傳遞到台灣各個城市
穿越島上的大街小巷
點亮每一盞夜裡的光芒
As the sun draws near the horizon,
light and shadows dance across every corner of the city.
A golden veil of light cloaks the buildings,
and shines on the city’s alleys and lanes.
As the sky gradually darkens,
people flood into the streets.
Lights go on, one after another.
Taipei,
a city of glowing lights,
has seen over 8,300 sunsets.
It is here
that we have nurtured Taiwan’s first lantern festival.
Its light is passed on to other cities in Taiwan.
It travels through the streets of this island,
and continues to shine through the night.
